WE HAD A GREAT NIGHT OUT, FOR A GREAT CAUSE!
The Ozaukee Food Alliance THANKS all who joined us for our 10th Anniversary Growing Our Table Gala, to Grow Our Table by renovating our NEW HOME, the historic Tri-Par Building in Saukville,
in order to better meet the increasing need in Ozaukee County.
This year’s event was held on March 4, 2023 6p-10p at the
Ozaukee NonProfit Center, 2360 Dakota Dr, Grafton, WI 53024
Around 300 of our old and new friends joined us for good food, fun drinks, a great silent auction, raffles, a wine pull, and more, all to raise money to build a welcoming, bright, and open food market; a lovely and functional community room; and a beautiful outdoor space, right in the heart (the crossroads!) of Ozaukee County!
Master of Ceremonies Mark Baden ably led us through a “Fund A Need” auction to help furnish our new space, sponsored by Port Washington State Bank, who MATCHED the first $5000 raised! And we were so pleased to welcome Maureen Fitzgerald of Feeding America Eastern Wisconsin as our keynote speaker to help us understand the impact of food insecurity in our community.
Our Gala was presented by Port Washington State Bank, Charter Steel, and WE Energies along with all of the great Table Sponsors mentioned below. We are grateful to all the Live and Silent Auction donors and everyone who bid on something or purchased a raffle ticket. Overall, we raised $44,000, pushing us over the half-way point to our Capital Campaign Goal!! Amazing!
