This month, our Featured Fundraiser aims to afford local students access to food and everyday essentials throughout the school year.
Ozaukee Food Alliance supports Grab & Go Backpacks at local schools, providing students with easy-to-prepare, kid-friendly foods to take home for evenings and weekends when school meals aren’t available.
We also help stock Pirate’s Cove at Port Washington High School, a discreet and welcoming resource where students can access food, snacks, toiletries, feminine hygiene products, clothing, and other necessities at no cost. Pirate’s Cove was recently nominated for an Ozaukee Impact Award, recognizing the positive impact this program is making for students in our community.
These programs allow students to get the help they need right at school and without barriers.
But we need your help to keep the shelves and backpacks stocked all year long! Your donation helps purchase food and essentials that go directly to local students.
