At Ozaukee Food Alliance, we believe:
- In the power of love over fear.
- That access to food is a basic human right.
- That nutritious food is essential to hope and to the success of every child, adult, and senior in the pursuit of vibrant and productive lives.
- That our community must be inclusive of everyone, regardless of race, color, religion, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, genetics, ability, age, family structure, immigration status or veteran status.
- That everyone should be treated with dignity and have a path to economic stability.
- That all are welcome at our pantry, no matter the reason, nuance, or duration of the need.
- That it is important to strive for a world where differences are valued and diversity is celebrated.
- That to fully embrace our beautiful diversity, we must also acknowledge our history of discrimination and work to undo the past harms caused.
- That we ought to recognize that our pantry and our county rest on the lands of the Menominee, Sauk, Fox, and Potawatomi.
- In the Golden Rule, common amongst nearly all religions and relevant to secular humanists as well.
